In a bold move echoing YouTube’s recent stance, Meta has officially announced a crackdown on unoriginal content. The platform will begin heavily limiting reach and monetization for creators who:
Repost others’ videos, images, or captions
Upload AI-generated or spliced content without value
Reuse celebrity or influencer content under misleading profiles
📉 So far in 2025:
10 million fake accounts deleted
500,000+ spammy or copycat pages penalized
This isn’t just about copyright — it’s about creator integrity. Meta is prioritizing originality, clarity, and authenticity. Watermarking someone else’s content or trimming a clip won’t cut it anymore.
Creators, take note:
⚠️ Reposts = No reach. No revenue.
💸 AI slop = Shadowban risks.
